Pastor
Rev. Christina Williams
The Rev. Christina Williams originally hails from upstate New York, but she has lived in the Boston area and its environs for many years. After discovering a passion for ministry, she attended Andover Newton Theological School. Prior to being pastor at our church, she served as pastor of the First Congregational Church in Hadley, MA and bridge minister at First Parish Church United in Westford, MA.
While serving in Hadley, Rev. Christina was a board member/moderator of the Hampshire Association Executive Committee and she co-founded an association-wide youth group, which grew from two participating churches to six.
Both during and after seminary, Rev. Christina was a street chaplain with Chaplains on the Way in Waltham, MA. This organization offers the ministry of companioning to those experiencing poverty and homelessness. Currently, Rev. Christina serves on the board of Belonging to Each Other, an organization that provides support and guidance to Falmouth neighbors transitioning to stable housing.
Rev. Christina finds joy, peace, and beauty in serving our congregation, our neighbors, in her daily spiritual practices, hanging out with friends and family—especially her daughter and son-in-law, being by the ocean, hiking, traveling with friends, going out to listen to music, and hugging her cat, Sajja.
