Winter Soup
Beginning in December at 12 pm, hot soup is served to warm the body and soul. Anyone from the church or the community is invited! In the warmer weather folks are invited to bring a bagged lunch—we’ll provide the drinks. This is time of seeing old friends and making some new ones. Occasionally, we have speakers and do small service projects for the church.
Chair Yoga Tuesdays & Fridays at 10am ( NO classes November 4 & 7)
We are excited to announce as of September 16, yoga classes are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 10am. This program is so popular, we wanted to give more people a chance to attend. If you haven’t attended before, the first class is always free. Yoga is for everyone! As we age it’s so important to stretch and move. Also this is a great place to socialize! Viriam our instructor provides a caring environment with just the right amount of yoga techniques. You will come away feeling physically and mentally better so we hope to see you soon! Come and bring a friend it’s only $10 a class.
Community Soup Drive
For October, we are excited to launch our soup drive to support the Bourne Food Pantry, and we invite everyone in our community to join this effort! Your generous donations of self-opening canned soups can make a positive difference for local families in need. Simply drop off your contributions in the outreach wagons set up in the church, and know that each can you donate is an immediate and tangible way to help people in our community.
Habitat for Humanity is Coming to North Falmouth
Sunday, November 9, Tara Cronin from Habitat Cape Cod will join us in worship to introduce the Habitat Build of 14 homes off of Benjamin Nye Road in North Falmouth. Be sure to join us to hear about the many ways you and our church can get involved. We look forward to welcoming her and the others she will introduce to us. Everyone longs for a stable place to call home for their family.
